1966 | Porsche 911 2.0 L

As per the accompanying Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, chassis 304827, the car presented here, was completed at Porsches Zuffenhausen factory on 9th March 1966 and painted in Slate Grey (code 6401).

In 2019, the then German owner commissioned renowned preparer Tuthill to convert the car to full FIA specification to run in Peter Autos 2 Liter Cup race series. After a few outings at Mugello and Spa Classic in 2022, the car was sold to Swiss historic racer Christian Traber who had it re-commissioned by specialist Meca Components at a cost of over EUR 55.000,- upon which it was sold in 2024 to its current Belgian owner. The car then participated successfully in the 2L Cup series in 2024 and 2025 with multiple podiums and finishing 6th overall in the 2025 championship having participated in only 4 out of the 6 races.

The car is absolutely on-the-button as evidenced by its Tuthill gearbox revision in 2024 and full engine rebuild in 2025 by Sporting & Historic (invoice available), having only done one race since the rebuild. All date-related items on the car such as fuel cell, seat, belts and fire system are current while its FIA HTP is valid until the end of 2029. It comes with its old German Road Registration and excellent spares including 1 set of wheels, suspension and brake parts and miscellaneous running spares (see pictures & spares list available on request).

This car is fully eligible for all pre-66 historic racing events, including the 2.0L Cup, Pall Mall events with MRL, Spa 6-hours, Le Mans Classic, as well as many road events such as Tour Auto and Modena Cento Ore. One of Tuthills 911 2L Cup projects, 304827 represents a great opportunity to acquire a front-running 2.0L Cup car ready for the 2026 season with nothing further to spend.
