Classic Trader was founded in 2013. Today's managing directors and founders Torsten Claus and Christian Plagemann have both had a soft spot for classic vehicles since their early childhood. They have dedicated their careers to the automotive industry right from the start and see great potential for digital business models in the recreational mobility market.
Anyone who wanted to obtain the greatest possible transparency about the worldwide vehicle inventory had to refer to countless sources. From searching at the local retailer, researching hundreds of print and club magazines, to small-scale searches in many smaller and larger online portals. Classic Trader's mission is to gradually bring together the world's largest inventory on a specialized platform.
