Buy Quadix Classic Cars
Quadix buggies bring German-built fun and utility to an open-air format. In Australia, an imported example must be priced with shipping, biosecurity and state compliance before it becomes a viable purchase.

Quadix history
Bamberg-based Quadix GmbH was registered in 2009 and moved from quads and ATVs into buggies and UTVs. Buggy 800, Buggy 1100 and the diesel Trooper became its defining 2010s machines: niche, practical and far removed from ordinary passenger cars.
Highlights
The 812cc Buggy 800 offered 2WD or selectable 4WD. Buggy 1100 used a water-cooled four-cylinder and five-speed manual; the tested Turbo produced 114PS and 145Nm. Trooper 800 used a Perkins diesel, CVT low range, locking differentials and a tray.

Market Overview & Buying Tips
German asking evidence puts used 800s roughly at €5,800–€12,990 and 1100s at €7,000–€14,900. That excludes freight, cleaning/biosecurity, import approval and state registration. Establish the VIN, overseas registration and admissibility first. Then inspect chassis, welds, corrosion, suspension bushes, driveshaft boots, brakes, radiator, wiring, tyres and all-wheel-drive operation. An LHD open buggy may be a weekend novelty, not an easy regional runabout.
Driving Feel
Open air, compact dimensions and short gearing make a Quadix engaging at modest speeds. On loose tracks a healthy 4WD system matters more than headline power; on sealed roads the light body and weather exposure are always present.
Design
The design is a compact mini-Jeep: exposed wheels, short overhangs and uncomplicated panels. A complete hood, doors and winch are useful only when their fittings and paperwork are right.
Summary
Find a Quadix with a complete technical file before committing to freight. Condition, compliance and parts planning outweigh rarity for Australian ownership.
