Description
The Porsche 911 was born at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1963! Initially, the “new one” was viewed with scepticism since everybody was used to a Porsche being a model 356! But the new model quickly achieved high production numbers and today this original 911 is rare and sought after.
Our Porsche 911 2.0 Coupé was delivered on July 25, 1967 by VW Pacific in Culver City (US). In those days, the only differences in the US version were different headlights and indicators. In the early 90s the car appeared in Rome, restored for the first time. From 1998 on the car was with a Porsche lover in Germany and since 2007 it has been with its current owner. This is when the classic was completely overhauled and the comprehensive restoration is documented. Its original numbers were found on metal parts and the chassis, engine and transmission are also originals so this car has “matching numbers”! This classic Porsche is unwelded and thus a rare collector’s item! The fact that it is fully functioning and ready to drive make it even more special. You cannot find many cars like this any more!
