Description

“The 911 is the most perfectly irrational car ever made.”– Car and Driver, 1970

A Gentleman’s Porsche — restored to perfection, with its soul intact.

This 1970 Porsche 911T Coupé left the factory in Stuttgart wearing a shade that would become a cult favourite: Irischgrün, paired with a refined black leather interior. Delivered new to San Antonio, Texas, and specified with period options such as rubber bumperettes and Koni shock absorbers, it represented the elegant touring end of Porsche’s now-iconic F-series.

But don’t be fooled by the “T” for Touring — its 2.2-litre, air-cooled flat-six delivers the kind of mechanical charisma that made Porsche a household name on both road and racetrack.

What makes this example truly special? Matching numbers, matching colours, and a restoration worthy of the Porsche crest. Between 2019 and 2022, this 911T underwent a no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt restoration.
The body was stripped and refinished in its original Irischgrün. The engine and gearbox were meticulously rebuilt. Suspension, electrics, and brakes received the same expert attention. And the interior — now reupholstered in supple black leather — remains faithful to its factory specification.

Total restoration costs? Over €44,000, all fully documented.

The result is a car that offers two equally compelling pleasures: to drive it as the engineers intended — light, nimble, and utterly mechanical — or to simply sit beside it in your garage with a glass of Burgundy and admire its sculpted lines.

This is the kind of car we’d sell to a friend, or buy for ourselves. A gentleman’s sports car, restored with integrity, and ready for the next chapter in its story.
