THE 911 SPEEDSTER

The Porsche 911 Speedster needs little introduction. Based on the outgoing Type 930, the 1989 Speedster was produced in two distinct configurations, with the narrow-body version being by far the rarer of the two. Porsche built just 161 examples with the regular Carrera body, making this one of the rarest derivatives of the G-Series.

THIS 911 SPEEDSTER

This matching-numbers 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster was delivered new to Sweden in C05 market specification. Finished in the exceptionally unusual combination of Apricot Beige with a brown Speedster top and Mahogany Brown full-leather interior, it is believed to be one of very few narrow-body Speedsters produced in this colour combination.

The specification includes 16-inch Fuchs wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres, factory electrically heated seats, a 40% limited-slip differential and the shorter shift lever for the G50 gearbox.

Little is documented regarding the car's earliest years. In 2003, it arrived in Italy, where it was subsequently maintained by Porsche specialists. Its Belgian history began in 2013, when it was acquired by its current owner. Since then, the car has been exceptionally lightly used, covering just over 2,000 km in the last ten years.

In November 2025, the car received a comprehensive service in our atelier, including replacement of all fluids and filters. It also successfully underwent a Porsche Classic 111-point check and was professionally detailed, including a fresh protective wax treatment.

The Speedster remains remarkably original and well preserved. The factory VIN decal on the front hood, original stickers and identification plates remain intact, while the original carpets are in particularly good condition. The factory-applied underbody corrosion protection is also still clearly visible.

Paint-meter readings confirm a quality repaint, with no evidence of significant filler or accident repair. The paintwork presents with excellent gloss and consistent depth throughout, while the preserved factory details and underbody protection contribute to an unusually authentic presentation.

With its matching-numbers engine, rare narrow-body configuration, unusual factory colour combination and exceptionally limited recent use, this Speedster represents a particularly interesting example of the final-generation 911 Speedster.

The car is accompanied by its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and is currently registered in Belgium.
