The Lancia Flaminia was Lancia's flagship model at that time, replacing the Aurelia. It was available throughout its lifetime as saloon, coupé and cabriolet. Interesting fact: less units of the four door version were produced than the Coupé, and even smaller percentage survive today.

This is a well known car in Finland with great provenance. Served as a limousine for important guests of a paper mill in Simpele town between 1963-1967. Prime minister of United Kingdom Harold McMillan as well as many other important persons have been chauffeured in this Lancia and hosted by Juuso Walden (1907-1972), an important industrialist and head of United Paper Mills. In one of the pictures you can see Mr Walden hosting Richard Nixon in 1965. After UPM owned by several classic car collectors/enthusiasts. Featured in the leading Finnish classic car magazine Mobilisti in 2003.

Technically sound, good running condition. Mot valid until June 2021.
About 10 000 euros invested in new spare parts in recent years to get the car to proper running condition. Engine, clutch, gearbox and brakes have all received attention. The car has had a new coat of paint and new interior trim in the 80's. Paint ok from a distance but due to age there are some faults on closer inspection. Same goes for interior, some faults and patina. Runs good with practically new Michelin tires. Enjoy the car as it is with minor faults or build yourself a show stopper with some further investment.
