Supplied in 1962 by Dawnier Motors, Ewell-by-pass near London to an elderly gentleman.

Registration: 410 XFP

1971 or 1972 after the death of the first owner sold by "The Farrant Motor Company" in Sutton with 16,000 mls to the author of "London, Brighton and South Coast Railway" Vol. 1-3, Mr. John Theodore Howard Turner from Sutton.

1978 Sold to a Mr. John Robins from Henley-on-Thames

1985 Imported to Germany: First registration in Germany, in Grefrath near Venlo, Duisburg, DÜsseldorf

1993 sold to a doctor from Düsseldorf

In the 1990s, this doctor had extensive work (repainting, engine overhaul, conversion to 5-speed Getrag gearbox, wood restoration, etc.) carried out on the Jaguar by specialist companies for over DM 70,000. There is a folder with invoices and pictures.

2008 De-registration of the Jaguar and professional accommodation in a company specializing in sports cars in Langenfeld near Düsseldorf

2016 In March 2016 I bought the car from the doctor through the mediation of the sports car dealer. I live in Germany close to the border of Luxembourg, not far from Trier/Mosel

I drove the car at most 2000km only in the best weather in summer. During this time I had an electronic ignition and a new carpet installed. There were no defects. The car is always dry in my garage.

The Jaguar was rated 2 by the appraiser (replacement value: 49,000 euros). Personally, I consider the rating to be a bit too high and would classify him as grade 3 myself.

The paint job from 1995 was done in a very high quality, sanding down to the bare sheet metal (here you can see on the photos that the car was probably still accident-free at that time. According to the previous owner, the Jaguar had no accident with him either. The paint is still very nice, except for 2 small rust spots (on the right fender strut and behind the front bumper on the right), the gaps are as they should be, the chrome is a bit thin, but not pimply or rusted behind.

The interior has only been restored from the wood (very nice work), the seats and headliner are original and patinated, although the seat pads on the front seats are torn. A second set of seats and back seat, unrestored and not torn, are still lying ready.

The engine and differential have an oil leak, but still within the range tolerated by the TÜV.
