The Volvo S70 is the further development of the 850 by slightly modifying the 850. The body became a little rounder through changes to the front and rear. Our Volvo S70 was delivered in Switzerland to Mr. Denis-Edward Hill from St. Cergue. Mr. Hill, born on July 18, 1934, drove the Volvo until his death and gave it regular care and maintenance. A fully stamped service booklet proves the condition and the mileage of 153,730 km. Mr. Hill ordered the Volvo with the T5 engine, a 5-cylinder engine with 2.3 liter displacement and turbocharging with an output of 240 hp and a 4-speed automatic transmission. He also ordered the S70 as a Celebration special model with leather interior, plus luxury package, prestige package, winter package, design package 3 and the audio package.
We completely refurbished the vehicle technically and cosmetically, carried out a major customer service, replaced all wearing parts, ice-blasted the underbody and coated it with transparent wax, repaired all scratches and paint damage and carried out a major preparation with a Waxoyl sealant. Over 10,000 euros were invested. The Volvo is now back like a new car, it will be fit for the next few years and will give its new owner a lot of joy. He has all the logbooks, keys and tools. Beautiful Volvo S70s are now rare, most vehicles have mileage of up to 800,000 km and are worn out. On the other hand, good specimens will increase in value and be a good investment.
