Description

Offering a 1750 Spider VeloceType: 105.57 that was completely rebuilt in 2018

As this was a gift for my client's wife, the technology, chassis, interior and body were completely rebuilt without regard to cost. My client is known in the scene for his Alfa projects. However, this was definitely his masterpiece.
I remember well seeing the project on the lift at Formula GT in Munich and thinking, wow, what an effort—a completely new car.
I believe there is no comparable Spider model on the market in Europe.
My client and owner of the Alfa imported the Spider from Holland in 2013 with an odometer reading of approx. 24,000 km and then had it rebuilt and restored between 2013 and 2018.
Costs:
Vehicle purchase: €18,000.-
Engine and gearbox: €14,000.-
Axles and chassis: €6,000.-
Bodywork & paintwork: €15,000.-
Interior with soft top: €17,000.-
Assembly and ancillary costs: €8,000.-
Classic Data appraisal from 2018 with an overall grade of 1 and a restoration value of €78,000.-

In 2022, my client and his wife were driving through southern France and, unfortunately, in a moment of inattention, the vehicle in front braked and my client collided with the vehicle ahead in the wonderful Alfa.
As part of this **rear-end collision **(full photographic documentation of the damage and the repairs, once again carried out without regard to cost, is available), the following components were renewed in 2023:
Both front bumpers
Radiator core
Water radiator
Turn signals
Headlights
Upper and lower front panels
Repair of both fenders and the bonnet
In summary, I would like to say that this is a very special vehicle which, when rebuilt to this extent, would more likely disappear into a collection than be offered on the market.
