Alfa Romeo 1900 C SS
Built on March 8, 1954, this is the third car produced out of a total of 299 examples of the second series, featuring an engine upgraded to 115 horsepower and twin vertical carburetors. Chassis AR 190001657, engine AR 1308 00688.
The car belonged to Robert Vincent, a master brewer from Aosta (today Birra Menabrea), and took part in three editions of the Aosta–Gran San Bernardo race with Robert Vincent, who had been president of the RACI Club Aosta since 1939. It was later sold in 1957 to Marguerretaz Eliseo, president of the sporting commission of ACI Aosta, and remained in his family until 2005.
Following a restoration carried out in 2010, the car is now presented in a state of exceptional originality, still retaining its column-mounted gear shift, original license plates and documents, and a high eligibility rating for the Mille Miglia. In 2026, the engine was completely rebuilt, as documented by available photos and invoices.
