1979 Moto-Guzzi Spada 1000

Reimagined Retro-Mod - Heralding back to the classic "Tonti era Guzzis", this example is based on a 1979 Moto Guzzi Spada 1000 which has undergone a full bare frame restoration and rebuild in the summer of 2020.

The work was undertaken by the highly regarded SideRockCycles based in Bournemouth and full rebuilt to a very high, modern specification including many bespoke custom fabricated components ......the machine is unique in every sense !

Key components were hand built specifically for the Bike by craftsmen including the CNC yoke, the "Glenn Monger" tricolour seat and the Le-Mans "Kick-up" style stainless steel exhaust system. Other Components were imported from German - including the Stein Diense Brembo Braking System and from Italy the New Dell-orto Carburettors & BiTurbo Rear shock Springs ...the list is end-less and the construction has been an obsession which has cost substantially more than the asking price today.

Code named Falco Rosso this exquisite - Retro Mod was one of the Key feature Bikes in a 2021 edition of Built Magazine and is an ultimate head-turner.

One Petrol Head Client who saw the Bike whilst we were photographing remarked that is was simply "Delicious" and frankly i cant think of a better word to describe it - whether you want a show stopper to ride to a Breakfast Meeting or simply a work of art for a business reception or man cave - i for one will be envious !
