2007 | Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S

If ever a car was born to be great, the Aston Martin Vanquish was it.   Designed by Ian Callum and built with Fords cheque book behind it, this was an Aston Martin that gave the Ferrari 550 a bloody nose.   Vanquish in name and Vanquish in nature.  I was lucky enough to see the Aston Martin Vanquish S in production at Newport Pagnell several times and I never failed to marvel at its build.  It was evident to me that with the small production numbers and the technology that had gone into Vanquish this motor car had cost a lot more than it was being sold for to design and build.  A true hero car for both Ford and Aston Martin. Here was one of the most handsome motor cars anywhere in the world and it emerged from a prewar factory in Buckinghamshire.  The DB4/5/6 and V8s all came through Tickford Street before the Vanquish S signed off a chapter in motoring history.  Now the factory has gone, we are left with these marvellous creations to admire the handbuilt qualities of Britain at its best. 

Good for over 200 mph, the Vanquish S is rock steady on the road and feels totally planted.  Trimmed in wonderful Bridge of Weir leather and Wilton Carpets this really is a street fighter in a tuxedo.

The car we have for sale, is 12 before the last 50 Ultimates and is simply immaculate.   Delivered new through Stratstone the first owner travelled less than 4000 miles in his 7 years of ownership as it resided in a collection of other Supercars.  Serviced by Strastone the car truly is as new and represents perhaps one of the last opportunities to buy such a car.   Simply superb
