Story and Documentation
This 1932 Premoli 250cc Competizione came into my life in 2012, inherited from my father, who had owned it since 1984. A motorcycle that has therefore remained within the same family for over forty years, a fact that, for any vintage vehicle collector, already tells a story of care and continuity on its own.
What makes this motorcycle truly unique is its rarity: Premoli is not a widely known marque like other protagonists of Italian motorcycling history, but that is precisely what makes owning an example like this so special, it means holding on to a piece of history that very few other collectors in the world can claim.
What I love most about this motorcycle
If I had to choose one thing I particularly love, it's the unmistakable sound of the engine starting up, which tells the story of its era all on its own. And the fact that, just by looking at it, you can still feel all the tension and speed it was built for, despite the years. This is one of those machines that doesn't simply invite you to look, it tells a story to anyone who observes it closely.
Letting it go is not an easy decision, but I firmly believe that a piece this rare deserves to pass into the hands of someone who will know how to preserve its historical value, not just its monetary one. For this reason, I am available for a direct conversation with anyone genuinely interested, to share the story of this motorcycle in person.
Being a vintage motorcycle of considerable rarity and age, the sale is "as is." I remain fully available to provide further details, additional photos, or to arrange an in-person viewing before purchase, including for buyers abroad.
General Vehicle Summary
Premoli 250cc Competizione, year 1932. The motorcycle has belonged to a single family since 1984 (purchased by my father) and was inherited by me in 2012.
General Condition
The engine is in working order and was fully serviced in 1985. The frame shows no signs of previous accidents, to the best of my knowledge. The motorcycle was actively used in motorcycling events until 2011.
Work Carried Out
- Full engine overhaul in 1985
Recommended Work Before Use
In full transparency toward the buyer, I should note that before any active use (exhibitions, rallies, possible historic races) it would be advisable to have the engine serviced again, as it has not been overhauled since 1985. At present, no urgent work is required; however, a general inspection by a specialized mechanic before starting it up is recommended, as good practice for any vintage vehicle.
Note to the Buyer
Being a vintage motorcycle of considerable rarity and age, the sale is "as is." I remain fully available to provide further details, additional photos, or to arrange an in-person viewing before purchase, including for buyers abroad.
