Offered for sale is a 1937 Riley 12/4 Special. In the 1980s, this car was converted into a racing car over a period of five years in England and completed in 1990. It was based on a modified Riley 12/4 Falcon chassis, which was modified to Sprite specifications.
During the conversion, the car was fitted with a 2.6-litre Riley Pathfinder four-cylinder engine, combined with a 4-speed manual transmission. The Riley came to Germany in the early 2000s and was purchased by its current owner in 2003. Under his care, the Riley has been continuously maintained and further improved.
Since 2003, the Riley has participated in numerous events, including several circuit events such as Nürburgring and Hockenheim, as well as hill climbs and various outings. The car is in perfect technical condition.
