'85 528iA

This BMW 528i was produced on the 3rd of June 1985 and delivered to BMW of France accordingly. It was sold new through Berni S.A. in Sens Cedex, France from where it was sold to the 1st owner and registerd on the 20th of August 1985. Ordered new in a beautiful spec: 184 Delpingrau-Metallic (Dolphin Gray) over a Anthracite Herringbone cloth interior. Furthermore: a smooth Automatic gearbox, 4 electric windows, 4 headrests, Central locking and tinted glass. 

The car was always serviced by one garage in Auxerre, France. After that the car was parked for a longer time. A couple of years ago it was discovered again and put back on the road. We have recently acquired the car from France and got to work. The condition of the body, undercarriage and interior is amazing. The car does not show any rust and the undercarriage is exceptionally clean and solid. It doesnt show any trace of welding done. Beautiful original sills, jack-points and all original floors. The wheel housings in body color and the floors in primer, as it should be. 

The interior is beautiful. Great 80's design with a driver-focused layout - very typical for 80's BMW's. An amazing time-capsule! It's all original and unrestored. A nice crack-free dashboard, perfect headliner and original carpets. Comfort seats with anthracite Herringbone upholstery - all in original condition. The Big-Six models of the E28 had doorpanels with cloth on the undersides and the rear-seat has a center armrest. The original steering-wheel looks nice and a good and original texture on it. The interior has withstood the test of time amazingly. 

The body is nice, straight and solid. Wearing all original bodypanels with the numberplate engraved in all windows of the car. Furthermore nice panelgaps, sharp lines and a beautiful finish in its factory color. The paint looks immaculate with a beautiful gloss. The bumpers show excellent chrome quality. 

The engine bay is looking nicely: all solid and straight. The trunk of the car is in original paint as well and has the original spare tire and full set of tools. 

When the car came to Oldenzaal we have done a thorough inspection and did major servicing and repairs afterwards. An E28 that drives as well as it looks!
