Description

The first sports car to bear the Porsche name was the Type 356. Ferry Porsche began production in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Germany in 1950. This constantly refined and extremely successful vehicle remained in production until March 1965. A further 16,668 units of the final version of this model, the Porsche 356 C with disc brakes, were produced, whilst production of its successor, the Porsche 911, was already underway. For long-standing Porsche enthusiasts, the 356 is the ‘true’ Porsche.

Our Porsche 356 C 1600 Coupé was delivered in the USA in 1964. It probably had only one owner there. It came to Germany in the late 1980s and is now in its second ownership here. It is currently off the road but has a classic car certificate. There is also a vehicle valuation with a grade of 2. The classic car was restored in Germany and repainted in its original colour, whilst the magnificent interior has remained largely original. The sale price includes a recent service.
