It is exceptionally powerful and accelerates the SL vigorously. The transmission, steering and brakes also work perfectly; the SL is roadworthy.
The central locking works, as does the convertible-top hydraulics. However, the hydraulic cylinders should be fitted with new seals due to their age. The two cylinders located in the upper windshield frame have already been refurbished.
