Description
The Mercedes-Benz Roadsters 190 SL and 300 SL were icons. So it was hard for any successor to replace both series. The new 230 SL, quickly named “Pagoda” given its characteristic hard top, easily achieved that with the 190 SL but the 300 SL remained unique. The continuous improvement of the W 113 series led to the very well balanced 280 SL via the 250 SL.
Our Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster was delivered to the US in 1971 at the very end of its production cycle. Since 1991 the clasic car is registered in Germany and is currently with its second German owner. It is mostly an original and in pristine technical condition so immediately ready to drive!
