Under the current ownership for 25 years & swedish registered with EEC taxes paid. The current owner discovered it in a museum in the USA & repatriated it & has enjoyed extensive if sparing use over the past two & a half decades with the car residing at his third home in Sweden for sumer use only.
This car carries rare drophead coupe coachwork by Windovers whom made just three examples in this configuration. The car is set up for continental touring wiith a huge boot & also additional luggage space behind the front seats. It is however a 4 seat car with occasional seats that fold out of the rear of the car. This is a very spacious car & well suited to the larger driver.
During the current decades long ownership the car has had an engine rebuild with a rebore, new pistons & valves etc so consequently it runs beautifully. It is very long legged & at home in modern motorway traffic. A spin off modern oil filter is also in situ. Indicated mileage is 75,000 on the odometer which may well be correct given the lack of wear to the pedals.
The car is lightly patimated with original feeling brown leather to the interior. Paintwork is in good order in two tone gold & brown. The beige canvas hood is also in good order & goes down & up easily with one person when standing in the rear luggage area. A well tailored hood bag snaps over the hood when down.
The car is with us at our Northampton showrooms where it may be viewed by appointment. We are giving it a full service prior to sale as it has been standing for a year but is running well since we collected it.
