    - Newly rebuilt mechanicals, engine bay and underside
    - Manual transmission

The Porsche Standard Star is an elegant and rarer representative of Porsche’s early years, where simplicity, durability and character were key. This model perfectly reflects Porsche’s philosophy of the 1950s and 1960s: robust engineering, reliable technology and timeless design.

This example, first registered on 01/01/1961, has undergone a good professional restoration and presents today in a particularly well-kept condition. The bodywork was professionally repainted in a classic red colour, offering a clean and homogeneous appearance that matches the car’s authentic character.

The underside and engine bay are in near-new condition following restoration, indicating a thorough and respectful approach. The interior, including seats, carpets and trim, has been restored and is presented in a neat and harmonious condition.

Mechanically, this Porsche has also been fully addressed. The 2-cylinder engine is in near-new condition after restoration and has been properly maintained. Clutch, gearbox, brakes, handbrake and suspension function correctly. The battery has been recently replaced and the tyres are new.

The chassis number is original and clearly readable, correctly located on the right-hand side near the gearbox.

This Porsche Standard Star represents a particularly attractive opportunity for enthusiasts of early Porsche models looking for a properly restored, drivable and well-presented example with unique historical character.
