The rare Flaminia GT 2.5 Touring models were built from 1959 to 1967. The Superleggera is the second version of Lancia’s coupé from the 1960s. It was built by ‘Carrozzeria Touring’ under the GT (Gran Turismo) designation. The Touring Superleggera construction, consisting of an aluminium outer skin on a steel tube frame, enabled a weight reduction of 200 kg. In tests, the 2.5-litre version achieved acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.8 seconds. Its top speed was 180 km/h. Only 863 examples with this engine were built. The contemporary automotive press considered the Flaminia GT to be one of the best coupés, with exceptionally good road handling.
