JAGUAR XK 150 FHC 3.4 LITRE – 1958

A Masterpiece of Elegance, Performance and Exceptional Restoration

This outstanding 1958 Jaguar XK 150 FHC (Fixed Head Coupé) is one of the finest examples of post-war British automotive design. Built on October 28th, 1958, it was dispatched on November 10th to Jaguar Cars New York and first registered in the USA in 1959. Later imported to Germany, it was awarded a FIVA certificate in 2002, testifying to its authenticity and international historical importance.

In 2007, it received the ASI technical data certification, necessary for its first Italian registration, and is today regularly road-registered in Italy, with all mandatory technical inspections up to date.

Restoration of the highest standard

In 2014, this XK 150 underwent a complete and professional restoration, carried out to concours standards. Every component was meticulously restored or rebuilt, maintaining the original specifications and ensuring exceptional overall quality. In 2020, a professional appraisal confirmed the top-tier market value of the car and the excellence of the restoration.

Full historical documentation

In 2017, the car received the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, confirming its factory specifications. In 2023, it was awarded the ASI Certificate of Historical and Collectible Significance, a prestigious recognition for collectible vehicles in Italy.

Stunning colour combination & grand touring comfort

The striking metallic grey exterior paired with Connolly red leather interior gives this car an irresistible visual appeal. As a Fixed Head Coupé, the XK 150 offers greater cabin space and comfort compared to the roadster, while maintaining a sporty and sleek design—ideal for long-distance classic touring.

🛞 Performance & technical highlights

The XK 150 3.4 Litre marked a major evolution over the earlier XK 120 and 140 models, with several key technical and design improvements:

  • Engine: 3.4L inline-six with dual SU carburettors, delivering approx. 190 HP and a top speed exceeding 200 km/h.
  • Four-wheel disc brakes (a first for a production Jaguar), offering superior braking power.
  • Improved chassis and suspension for better handling and comfort.
  • 4-speed manual gearbox, often with optional overdrive.
  • Modernised design with wraparound windscreen and refined body lines.

The XK 150 represented a leap forward in terms of power, safety, and comfort, standing as the ultimate evolution of the XK line before the debut of the iconic E-Type.
