A rare and very good Limegold X-code Coupe
Assembled at the Dearborn plant in Detroit, Michigan – the beating heart of the U.S. car industry – this Ford Mustang was born in 1968. We picked up this Mustang in California, where it had been long owned.
The X-code production was unique to the 1968 model year. Only 733 Mustangs were produced: 477 hardtops, 189 fastbacks, and 67 convertibles. X-codes used a rare engine configuration – a 390 cubic inch big block with a two-barrel carburetor, delivering 280 horsepower.
On the outside, this Pony looks stunning in Limegold, with a black top and dual exhaust. The interior features a matching green trim and a radio.
This Coupe comes with automatic transmission and power steering. Keep in mind, this Pony is in very good condition!
