Citroën CX 20 Reflex Athena, first registered 22 October 1982, 128,000 km. 2.0 petrol, 106 hp, 4-speed manual. Silver metallic with brown cloth interior.
Delivered new in Belgium through the Belgian Citroën importer. Comes with its original 1982 Belgian certificate of conformity issued specifically for the "CX Reflex Athena", and Belgian registration papers (Part I and II, historic "Ancêtre" registration). Privately owned, kept in indoor storage in Rakovník (approx. 1 hour west of Prague), Czech Republic, since import.
Bodywork is largely original paint and free of rust; the underside is very clean. The car runs and drives. After storage it needs a routine service and a carburettor adjustment, which is reflected in the price.
Work carried out approx. 2 years ago:
– complete hydraulic system overhaul – new spheres, fresh LHM fluid
– new head gasket and valve cover gaskets
– new alternator and new fuel pump
– carburettor rebuilt, new spark plugs
– engine decarbonised, oil and filter changed
– timing belt kit replaced at 85,000 km
Interior: seats, upholstery and headliner undamaged. Original Philips radio, classic CX satellite controls and rotating drum instruments.
Documentation: original 1982 certificate of conformity, original Citroën service book with dealer stamps, owner's manual, invoices and service history, Belgian roadworthiness inspection reports.
Viewing welcome by appointment; inspection by your own mechanic is welcome. Transport to Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany or France can be arranged at cost.
