Truly incredibly beautiful and unique 1954 Buick station wagon! The Buick comes with its complete history: Purchased new by Elizabeth Paepcke from Buick dealer Richard’s in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Paepcke family were the original developers of Aspen, the well-known ski resort of the jet set. Originally driven only 80,000 miles. Repainted in the original color combination of “Casino Beige” with an “Arctic White” roof. The interior features “Tan & Ivory Cordaveen” vinyl upholstery. In this configuration, the 322 V-8 produces 200 hp, paired with a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Equipped with power brakes and power steering, the original radio, dealer-installed air conditioning, and wire wheels. Recently fitted with new radial tires with ‘wide white sidewalls’ (as shown in the first photos). This Buick Century Estate Wagon has been featured in various magazines. Drives wonderfully and is very easy to drive, thanks in part to the power steering. A truly stylish fifties station wagon in top condition!
