1988 Aston Martin series 5 V8 EFI finished in Warwick blue with Magnolia hide interior was first Introduced by Aston Martin in 1986, as a slightly less expensive version of their V8 Vantage X Pack and in many respects a more manageable version. Supplied new by Aston Martin Sales in Knightsbridge this very car also features in issue 17 of Vantage magazine, a copy of which accompanies the car. This ultimate series 5 V8 is equipped with Weber/Marelli electronic fuel injection with a quoted power output in excess of 300BHP, delivering smoother power and torque as well as improved fuel efficiency. It has resided with the last owner in the New Forest for a little over 4 years who purchased it from Nicholas Mee Ltd and it comes with various desirable upgrades. These include 16" Ronal wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres as fitted to the Vantage together with a thicker front anti-roll bar for noticeably improved cornering and generally greater stability at speed. In addition, it is fitted with a sports exhaust and a beautiful Nardi veneered steering wheel. Presented with a leather bound, chronologically kept detailed service history file and is a very rare motor car being one of only 59 cars built. This lovely example is a real head turner and sensibly priced at £167,500
