Vehicle registration: Austrian and German papers

General model history:

This Porsche is the last and therefore most technically mature model in the entire 356 series. It was built in parallel with the new 911 and, like the latter, has the same modern 4-disc brake system as standard.
The gearbox and steering gear were also improved and the engine power increased. This vehicle offered here is also a rare SC model of which only a few were built.
With its 95 hp, it is the most powerful model with the exception of the Carrera series and therefore also faster than the successor model (912) which only had 90 hp.

Explicit data about this car:

This Porsche 356 is identical in colour and number and has a complete history since 1984 - impressively documented in two extensive A4 folders.

The last owner, who acquired the vehicle in 1999, used the car regularly, always with great care and a sense of technical responsibility. Her participation in numerous classic events not only speaks for passion, but also proves the impressive reliability of this vehicle.

The original engine was temporarily replaced by a more powerful one. Before the sale, the original, matching-numbers SC unit - in very good condition - will be reinstalled. The performance-optimised engine is not included in the purchase price, but can be taken over separately by arrangement.

The currently installed wooden steering wheel can be replaced with the original standard steering wheel free of charge on request - in keeping with the factory specification.

A special highlight: the signature of rally legend Rauno Aaltonen adorns the dashboard - a sign of personal connection to the owner and a charming touch of historical authenticity. Rauno Aaltonen ziert das Armaturenbrett – ein Zeichen persönlicher Verbindung zur Besitzerin und eine charmante Note historischer Authentizität.

The car underwent extensive, professional restoration several years ago. Even today – after many years of loving use – the vehicle is in extremely well-maintained condition and is technically and visually flawless.

The equipment includes almost all the special options available at the time:

  • High-quality leather interior

  • Two original ‘snooze wheels’

  • Chrome-plated rims

  • Speedster trim

  • Tarpaulin and spray hood

  • FM blue dot radio

  • Auxiliary headlights

A vehicle with character, history and a condition that is rarely found on the market, which unfortunately has to be sold for health reasons - ideal for collectors, connoisseurs and drivers with a sense of style and substance.
