1990 | Alfa Romeo 1.6 Spider

This RHD Home Market Alfa Romeo Spider was first registered on the 14th February 1990 and has covered 70,000 miles. We are selling the Alfa on behalf of a Chelsea based client as a light, running project. The MOT expired in January 2025 and will require a brake service and various light mechanical and electric work. The most recent owner paid £14000 for the car in 2022, shortly after having had a couple of thousand pounds worth of work carried out. Work included a new heater motor, front wheel bearings, new handbrake cable, new wheel nuts, new carpet set, radiator expansion tank, cam cover gasket, new cam cover nuts and, brake master cylinder, new gearknob and Nardi steering wheel. All parts were supplied by Alfaholics between 2019 and 2022. Prior to that in 2015, £2300 was spent on a gearbox rebuild and just a few hundred miles have been covered since then. The bodywork does have various blemishes and imperfections but is still perfectly usable and presentable. Whilst there is no doubt a full repaint would hugely improve the car, it has the appearance of a decent, well used original car. The upholstery and hood are of a very good standard, the engine is fit and strong and essentially the gearbox has covered very little since being stripped down. We are happy to discuss carrying out a program of work on the car, and we are also prepared to sell the car exactly as it is, as a running project for someone to improve over winter months.
