The 1920s and 1930s Bentley racing cars are truly captivating. They are cars that cannot be mistaken for any other brand and have achieved tremendous success on international circuits. For instance, Woolf Barnato won the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice in 1929 and 1930 with a Bentley 6.5 Litre Speed Six, making Bentley the first to win the legendary race twice with the same car.

This is just one of the many achievements of the pre-war Bentley racers, which clearly demonstrate the brand's reputation during those years. Unfortunately, a Bentley racing car with such a historic pedigree is a privilege only a few can afford. Every enthusiast should have the pleasure of driving such a car sometime in their life. With this exquisite Bentley Le Mans racer, you can experience the feeling that the drivers of that era must have experienced.

This 3.5 Litre Le Mans Recreation is a beautifully crafted example that perfectly captures the right atmosphere. The foundation of this car is a 1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25, which also reflects its registration. This is a significant advantage, as it allows the car to participate in events designated for pre-war automobiles. Other cars are often based on a more modern chassis, which would disqualify them from such events.

The Rolls-Royce technology has also been adopted, meaning we can find a powerful 3,669 cc engine housed under its long hood. The straight six-cylinder engine is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. This engine forms the basis for the Bentley 3.5 Litre, on which this car is inspired.

Originally, this car might have been a spacious, luxurious saloon, but now it has been transformed into a stunning classic racing machine, reminiscent of the beautiful Pre-war Bentley Le Mans racers. The bodywork is gorgeous and in optimal condition. The fantastic brightwork details beautifully contrast with the dark green paint and partially green leather-clad body.

The interior, finished in the same green colour, is equally beautiful and well-preserved. A magnificent wooden dashboard with exquisite gauges resembles a blend of a pre-war car and a fighter aircraft – truly characteristic!

Driving this Bentley, which has a Dutch license plate, is an incredible experience. The six-cylinder engine, with its ample torque, effortlessly fulfils its purpose, and behind the wheel, you'll feel like the "king of the road." This car has an impressive size! It's evident that the vehicle has always received top-notch maintenance; the engine, brakes, suspension, and steering all feel incredibly solid.

We often conclude with a brief summary of the car, but we are almost certain that after reading the above text, you are already convinced. Should that unbelievably not be quite the case we are happy welcome you to Brummen for that final nudge, although you probably already know deep down that you won't need it.
