Exceptional Jaguar E-Type Roadster V12, Series III – better than new
The vehicle was first registered in the USA in 1973 and imported in 2010 by the penultimate owner in exceptionally good and drivable condition as a basis for restoration. He then had the E-Type restored and rebuilt over a period of three years according to his special wishes "nut and bolt". The body was completely stripped of paint and all components were fundamentally overhauled and improved (complete engine, front and rear axles, brake system, ignition system, etc.) or renewed (5-speed Getrag transmission, cable harnesses, etc.). The E-Type was painted Light Blue, a color popular in the 1970s. The interior was completely leather covered in dark blue. The carpets and soft top were accented in gray. The round instruments received chrome surrounds. Furthermore, extra thermal insulation was installed to protect the interior against engine heat. In 2014 he bequeathed the car to a friend, the current owner.
This E-Type is suitable for long journeys, even at consistently high speeds.
