Description

ometimes, a car is more than just a vehicle. It’s a time capsule, a statement – and an experience on four wheels.

This 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Fleetwood, assembled in Antwerp for the European market, marked the beginning of a new era. It was the first model to showcase the iconic tailfins that would define American car design for decades.

Under the hood: a classic Cadillac V8, smooth, strong, and reliable. The revolutionary 4-speed Hydramatic automatic transmission still shifts confidently. Turn the key – and the voice of the 1950s comes alive.

The interior has been freshly reupholstered in deep red, elegant and inviting. The dashboard has a different tone than the door panels – a charming detail that tells a piece of its story. The paint shows some cosmetic wear and has been resprayed in the past – but the structure is solid, and the lines remain iconic.

Yes, it’s a 74-year-old car – so some things need attention. The gearbox seal (simmerring) needs replacing, but mechanically, the car is alive and well.

Built for Europe – with KM/h speedometer, 6-volt electrics, and historic registration (H-plate).

I’m parting with it not because I don’t love it – but because I simply have too many vehicles. I hope it finds a new home with someone who won’t just drive it, but feel it.
