1989 | BMW 320is

Hello,
The vehicle I am offering was imported from Italy by me in May 2023. Since 2008, it had been continuously serviced by the same workshop there before it came into my possession.

The car had a total of four previous owners in Italy:

• 12 years in Trapani, Sicily
• 7 years in Trapani, Sicily
• 11 years in Savigliano, near Turin
• 4 years in Rome

The vehicle comes with a service booklet that was consistently maintained by the same BMW dealer until 2001, as well as extensive documentation of all investments made over the years.

In September 2023, I had the car officially registered in Germany through DEKRA, where it also received an H license plate (historic vehicle registration).

In September 2024, the seats were professionally reupholstered and covered with original BMW fabric.

The previous owners also had the following registered accessories installed:

• Supersprint center silencer + "X-pipe"
• Supersprint rear silencer
• H&R stabilizer set
• Bilstein B6 dampers

Since owning the vehicle, I have had it extensively overhauled mechanically, sparing no expense. Just last month, an engine overhaul was performed, which included the following work:

• Cylinder head resurfaced
• Valve clearance adjusted
• Valve seats re-cut
• New piston rings and connecting rod bearings installed
• Fuel injectors replaced
• And much more

Now, the prospective buyer is probably wondering why the car is being sold despite all these investments. The answer is simple: a new project is on the horizon. An unexpected opportunity arose to configure and order a very special vehicle from Zuffenhausen exactly to my specifications.
