Brand & Model History:
A stylish open car where four people can travel in utmost comfort and with an exquisite design is a rare find. The Bentley Azure, produced between 1995 and 2003, offers all of this and more, being the fastest and most expensive four-seater convertible in the world at the time. Based on the Continental R, the Azure impresses not only with its powerful presence, thanks to the V8 engine with 6.75 liters displacement and 389 hp, but also with finely embossed leather and high-gloss lacquered wood accents in the interior.

From 1999 onward, Bentley expanded the Azure lineup with an exclusive Mulliner version, built to customer specifications. Mulliner, even today, represents exceptional luxury in Bentley’s portfolio and stands for unique, personalized craftsmanship in the automotive world. Only 155 units of the Bentley Azure Mulliner were produced. These featured enhanced interiors, a more powerful engine with 426 hp and 875 Nm of torque, a front bumper with wire mesh inserts, a matrix grille, and larger 18" wheels. Of these, only 28 units were made as the special Wide Body model, distinguished by flared wheel arches and wider side skirts.

Condition & History:
This Bentley Azure Mulliner Wide Body was delivered in August 1999 by the Bentley dealership in Madrid. The exclusivity and refinement by Mulliner are traceable via the chassis number. The exterior color Magnolia pays homage to the 1952 Bentley R-Type Continental, which was also the fastest four-seater in its time. The interior matches the exterior in Magnolia with brown accents. Additional special features include eight centrally arranged auxiliary instruments with a red start button in the style of the Continental T, extensive leather upholstery, perforated pedals, a rear parking warning system, and burl walnut veneer.

With only about 8,400 km, this Azure Mulliner Wide Body is in excellent condition and uniquely rare in this configuration. In 2023, at 8,047 km, a comprehensive service costing over €10,000 was carried out at a Bentley dealership.
