1988 ASTON MARTIN V8 EFI VOLANTE FOR SALE

First seen at the New York Motor Show on January 25th 1986, the Aston Martin V8 EFI Volante was in production from 1986 to 1989. This model is powered by an Electronic Weber Marelli sequential fuel injection system which delivered smoother and more fuel efficient power when compared to the carburettor models. The power output from this fuel injected engine was, in its day, quoted at 305 bhp. Other distinct features were the flatter bonnet and BBS cross spoke wheels.

Just 214 V8 EFI Volante examples were produced, with only 34 of these built to this RHD Automatic specification. This vehicle was supplied new on the 18th April 1988 and is now finished in the very attractive Cumberland Grey with Dark Brown leather, Beige carpets and a newly fitted brown Mohair hood. 

Displaying just 69,751 miles, the history file contains the original build sheet, handbook and service voucher booklet together with an in-depth service history record. This details work carried out in the past by Aston Martin specialists and highlights previous ownership by a well known TV personality. Upgrades which now feature on the car are the later 16” Ronal road wheels and Nardi steering wheel. Recent expenditure carried out at Aston Engineering for the current vendor totals some £29,000. 

An extremely well-maintained example, which has just been serviced and presented in superb condition throughout.
