300 SE / Cabriolet,

only 708 units of this Mercedes model were ever produced, making it one of the rarest convertibles in the series.

The optimized 6-cylinder aluminum engine block with intake manifold injection from the legendary 300 SL Roadster and a new type of air suspension (renewed 7 years ago) with level control promise maximum driving comfort. Add to that power steering and 4 disc brakes, the best Mercedes-Benz had to offer at the time!

First registered: 1963 in Belgium (not a US import – no coupe conversion!)

Important information

Seat covers need to be replaced (as shown in the pictures)

Driver's seat needs to be technically overhauled

Underbody needs to be professionally replaced

Steering rod needs to be replaced soon

There was apparently water damage well before my time, which is why there are differences in the leather color inside and why the seat leather is in poor condition

About 35 years ago, the car was extensively repainted from its original dark green to silver metallic, and the soft top exterior and export headlights were replaced.
