Chassis 112748 was registered new to its first owner, a resident of Eschwege, Germany on the 8th of February 1963 via Porsche Zenturm Fulda. The original specification was Ivory over a red interior, the same colour combination in which it is presented in today as per the Kardex. It was optioned with headrests and a Blaupunkt Berlin radio with two speakers and antenna. While the early history is not documented, the car was later acquired by Peter Iversen whose company Peter Iversen Specialværksted is one of the leading specialized restoration businesses of Porsche 356s in Europe, with noted award winning restorations on 356 Carreras. Peter acquired the car in the early 2000s and it remained in his ownership until our client’s acquisition in 2015. It was then the subject of a full concours level, rotisserie restoration by Peter Iversen Specialværksted which completed in 2017, during which speedster racing seats and a Webasto heating system were installed.
This remarkable car became part of a celebrated collection, with an owner who has driven it across Europe accruing almost the entire mileage currently shown on the odometer of 15,543 km. It has been exclusively maintained and serviced by Peter Iversen Specialværksted and Porsche Classic Zentrum Kassel, which opened in 2025 and is currently the only Porsche Classic Zentrum in Europe. The car is presented in excellent condition throughout.
Powered by its 2.0-litre Carrera 587/1 engine delivering 130 horsepower, paired with its four-speed 741 gearbox, the 356B Carrera is accompanied by its history file, restoration booklet, Kardex and classic data expert report, in which it is rated 1. The car is located and registered in Germany.
