Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, year 1959. Chassis (VIN) number 121040-10-9500466. Colour Ivory (we believe it to be Elfenbein DB608) combined with a red leather interior and beige carpet. This magnificent Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was first registered on 28 February 1959, and the car was imported to the Netherlands on 7 November 2006. About a decade ago, the car was extensively restored to concours condition! The automobile is still in a wonderful top condition! The car shows beautiful original details, and it shows only the tiniest traces of previous use. This splendid Mercedes 190 SL was purchased by the current owner in June 2021, and the car was serviced by Mercedes-Benz SL specialist van Dijk in the Netherlands where they also installed a gorgeous Becker Europa radio. The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was first presented as a prototype at the International Motor Sports Show in New York on 6 February 1954, this debut was largely driven by the US importer Max Hoffman. The production version was introduced at the Geneva motor show in March 1955. The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL is a graceful two-seater roadster designed as a more accessible companion to the very expensive six-cylinder 300 SL sports/racing car. The 190 SL offers refined styling and a comfortable touring experience rather than outright performance. This gorgeous example was restored to a very high standard, and the car is in a superb condition. An impeccable example for the discerning Mercedes-Benz enthusiast/collector. This vehicle is available to view and test drive by prior appointment only.
