Description
Triumph TR 3a, year 1958. Chassis number TS40961L, engine number TS41374E, Body number 1015991. A Heritage Certificate is present, factory original, matching numbers.
Colour Old English white combined with a black leathercloth interior trimmed with white piping and black carpet. Black vinyl soft top, hood cover and tonneau cover. This beautiful Triumph TR 3a was sold new in the USA.
The car was repainted in the United States three decades ago, and it was exported to the Netherlands in 1994. Since that year the car has known only one enthusiast Dutch owner who has enjoyed the car until 2022 (for 27 years!).
The TR 3a was well serviced and maintained over the years. The car is in a good and very original condition. The interior is fully original and wonderful, the engine room is very clean and mechanically everything is up to date.
This TR 3a is a proper driver car and it shows signs of use and age, a nice vintage patina. The car shows all the original details, and it is fitted with chrome wire wheels with beautiful ‘knock-on’ eared wheel nuts. This is a very desirable, affordable, and reliable TR 3a for the enthusiast TR driver!
