The Triumph TR2 was produced from August 1953 to September 1955. The TR2 was Triumph's attempt to gain a share of the expanding sports car market in the United States. A total of 8,636 TR2s were built, most of which were actually sold in the United States. The TR2 is widely regarded as the "car that started it all" for Triumph. The combination of spirited performance, an appealing model and an affordable price made the car a bestseller and was the basis of the successful TR series as we know it today.
This TR2 is one of the last examples before the introduction of the TR3 in 1955.

Classic Park's TR2 was fully body-off restored from 2002 to 2005. The restoration, documented with photos, has resulted in shiny new paint, leather bucket seats and a soft top in matching Bordeaux red, new chrome, a clean engine compartment, everything you can expect from a good restoration. Moreover, the two-liter four-cylinder engine has recently been completely restored and the car has got a Dutch registration. Since the completion of the restoration in 2005, the Triumph has had only one owner.
What is also special about Classic Park's TR2 is that the car meets all the requirements to be eligible for the Mille Miglia, the legendary event that is held annually in Italy.
