Toen Triumph in 1955 de TR3 introduceerde, zette het merk een volgende stap in de ontwikkeling van de betaalbare Britse sportwagen. Als opvolger van de TR2 bouwde de TR3 voort op hetzelfde recept van directe rijbeleving en een stoere, functionele vormgeving, en groeide het model al snel uit tot een van de meest geliefde roadsters van zijn tijd. Onder de motorkap van deze TR3 uit 1960 ligt de bekende 1991cc viercilinder motor, gekoppeld aan een handgeschakelde vierversnellingsbak. Deze combinatie staat garant voor het pure, ongefilterde rijplezier waar de TR-serie nog altijd om bekend staat.
Deze Triumph TR3 is gespoten in Winchester Blue, een kleur die de robuuste, gespierde lijnen van de carrosserie prachtig laat uitkomen.
