Historie:
- März 1977 Erstzulassung. 4 Vorbesitzer, alter KFZ-Brief anbei.
- Fahrzeug wurde in den späten 80-gern abgemeldet. Der Wagen wurde in Norddeutschland eingelagert (weitere Details sind nicht bekannt).. und vom Vorbesitzer aus Limburg in2021 übernommen.
- 2022 – 2023 Karosserie, kompletter Neuaufbau von Karosseriebaumeister und Simca-Spezialist aus Limburg
- 2023 Verkauf an mich wegen schwerer Erkrankung und Projektaufgabe im August 2023
- 2023 – 2024 Technik, kompletter Neuaufbau bei Simca Christall in Neuenstadt (heute Brettach). Motor, Getriebe, Fahrwerk und vieles mehr, s. Bilder
- Okt. 2024 H-Neuzulassung, TÜV-Abnahme
- März 2026 Einzelabnahme und Eintragung aller Umbauten

Weitere Informationen:
Der SIMCA ist ein echtes Einhorn und so einmalig am Markt. Das Auto wurde buchstäblich in jeglicher Beziehung neu aufgebaut. Alles wurde auf Neuzustand instandgesetzt oder komplett neu verbaut.
- Ziemlich sicher gibt es aktuell keinen Simca R2 der mit mehr Aufwand neu gebaut wurde
- Der Motor wurde komplett revidiert, hat ledigleich Einfahr-Km gelaufen. Er hat die originalen 1297 cm3 .
- Die Kolben und der Rumpf sind original. Die Nockenwelle hat 316° und die Verdichtung ist ca. 10,5/ 1. Das Schwungrad wurde erleichtert. Alles wurde aber bewusst auch in Richtung Standfestigkeit konzipiert.
- Die 45 Weber-Vergaser sind neu, der Luftfilterkasten ist auf Wunsch dabei. Die Wasserpumpe ist elektrisch und sitzt bei der Kühlung in der Front.
- Die Kupplung ist neu, das 4-Gang-Getriebe wurde komplett überarbeitet
- Die Leistung wurde nicht gemessen, liegt bei ca. 110 – 120 PS
- Bremsen wurden komplett neu gemacht
- Die Minilite-Felgen sind neu, die Bereifung ebenfalls
- Die gesamte Karosserie wurde komplett neu aufgebaut, rostbehaftete Teile wurde nicht überarbeitet, sondern konsequent ersetzt. Der Unterboden ist komplett neu
- Eine zweite Heckklappe, in Wagenfarbe lackiert, gibt's dazu
- Sitze für hinten habe ich nicht
- Die Originalsitze sind dabei, das originale Lenkrad auch
- Ein Satz eingetragene, neu aufbereitete Ghotti Felgen 7 und 8 Zoll sind, bei Interesse auch dabei.
Meine Kosten belaufen sich, belegbar auf mehr als 50.000,- Euro

History:
- First registration March 1977. Four previous owners, original vehicle registration document included.
- The vehicle was deregistered in the late 1980s. The car was stored in Northern Germany (further details unknown) and acquired from the previous owner in Limburg in 2021.
- 2022-2023 Bodywork: complete rebuild by a master bodywork specialist and Simca expert from Limburg.
- 2023 Sold to me due to serious illness and project abandonment in August 2023.
- 2023-2024 Mechanical work: complete rebuild at Simca Christall in Neuenstadt (now Brettach). Engine, transmission, chassis, and much more, see pictures
- Oct. 2024: Classic car registration, TÜV inspection
- March 2026: Individual approval and registration of all modifications

This SIMCA is a true unicorn and unique on the market. The car has been completely rebuilt in every respect. Everything has been restored to like-new condition or completely replaced.
- There is almost certainly no other Simca R2 currently being rebuilt with more meticulous attention to detail.
- The engine has been completely overhauled and has only been driven for break-in. It has the original 1297 cc displacement.
- The pistons and cylinder block are original. The camshaft has a 316° duration and the compression ratio is approximately 10.5:1. The flywheel has been lightened. Everything was deliberately designed for durability.
- The 45 Weber carburetors are new; the air filter box is included upon request. The water pump is electric and located at the front of the cooling system.
- The clutch is new, and the 4-speed gearbox has been completely rebuilt. - The power output has not been measured but is approximately 110-120 hp.
- The brakes have been completely replaced. - The Minilite wheels and tires are new.
- The entire body has been completely rebuilt; rusted parts were not repaired but replaced. The underbody is completely new.
- A second tailgate, painted in the car's color, is included. - I don't have rear seats.
- The original seats and steering wheel are included.
- A set of registered, refurbished Ghotti wheels (7 and 8 inches) are also included if you're interested.
My costs, which can be proven, amount to more than €50,000.
