1964 | Porsche 356 C 1600

In the summer of 1949, some Porsche employees began to set up a sports car production facility as subtenants at Reutter-Karosserie. The first coupés and convertibles of the Type 356 1100 with 40 hp were largely hand-built. With the Porsche 356 C, built from 1963 to 1966, the Type 356 was fully developed. A total of 76,302 vehicles were produced.

According to the Certificate of Title, our Porsche 356 C 1600 Cabriolet was first registered in Arizona, USA, in April 1964 and has been registered with the current owner in Germany since 2015. The present Porsche certificate confirms that the convertible has MATCHING NUMBERS. An expert report confirms the very good condition, especially the solid body structure. The classic car was repainted during the partial restoration. It is simply a pleasure to drive the historic cabriolet with its balanced 75 hp performance. You can still ‘feel’ the technology, a marvellous contrast to today’s modern super sports cars!
