Peugeot 504 Pininfarina Cabriolet 2.0 Injection (Kugelfischer) – Swiss Historic Registration – 61,000 km – Fully Restored
Offered for sale is my Peugeot 504 Pininfarina Cabriolet 2.0 Injection with the highly desirable Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection system. An honest, reliable grand touring convertible with a well-documented history, carefully maintained and regularly driven throughout my 14 years of ownership rather than being kept solely as a showpiece.
The car was originally imported new into Switzerland, where it spent many years in the Canton of Ticino in the ownership of a physician who drove it only occasionally. It then passed to its second owner from 2010 to 2012 before I acquired it in 2012. The car has remained in my ownership ever since. The odometer currently reads 61,000 km.
Between 2019 and 2020 the car underwent a comprehensive restoration. During this process, the original Bordeaux Red paintwork was changed to its current elegant Camargue Blue finish. The complete interior was retrimmed in high-quality Bordeaux leather, with matching vinyl door and side panels. A new convertible top was also fitted.
Mechanically, the Peugeot has been consistently maintained. Approximately two years ago, the Kugelfischer fuel injection system was completely overhauled. The rear trailing arms, camshaft, braking system and numerous additional wear components have been replaced or rebuilt. The restoration is supported by invoices and an extensive photographic record.
The car remains largely original in specification and drives beautifully. For many years it served as a reliable summer daily driver and has regularly been used for long-distance touring. It has completed several trips between Switzerland and Southern Italy without any issues. This is not a garage queen, but a genuine touring convertible that has been exercised regularly and maintained accordingly.
The car is registered as a Swiss Historic Vehicle and benefits from a valid Swiss/Liechtenstein historic inspection for another four years.
As expected of a vehicle over 50 years old, the car shows some minor signs of use. There are a few areas of surface rust that should be addressed in due course. Overall, however, it presents as an honest, well-maintained and mechanically dependable classic with documented history.
The car is currently located in Apulia, Southern Italy, where it can be viewed and test-driven by appointment. From August 2026, it will be available for viewing in Liechtenstein.
This is not a freshly restored museum exhibit, but a genuine Pininfarina classic that has been driven regularly, maintained with great care and kept mechanically up to date. It is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its next owner.
