Mercedes-Benz SL 320 (R129) presented in the exceptionally rare Alexandrite Green metallic (special-order paintwork), complemented by an elegant Saffron Nappa leather interior. This late-production 1999 example represents one of the most refined evolutions of the legendary R129 series. Powered by the highly regarded M112 V6 engine paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission (5G-Tronic).
With 191,000 km from new, the vehicle remains in very attractive overall condition. The real mileage is very well documented (service book, service invoices, technical inspection protocols). The body is accident-free, with only the front bumper and bonnet having been professionally refinished during its lifetime. The car retains its original factory specification and presents exceptionally well throughout.
During the last year, the vehicle has benefited from extensive maintenance and preventative servicing to ensure reliable operation for years to come. Significant work includes a complete automatic transmission service with fluid exchange and system flush, replacement of selected fuel lines, engine resealing, and numerous additional maintenance items.
Thanks to this comprehensive recent investment, the car is ready to be enjoyed immediately without the need for further major expenditure.
Originally delivered through the Mercedes-Benz Munich branch in July 1999, this SL was specified with an impressive list of factory options. Highlights include Xenon headlamps, electrically adjustable memory seats, a multi-contour driver's seat, heated front seats, electrically folding exterior mirrors, rear seats, navigation system and CD changer. Currently installed is a Continental radio with Bluetooth and HF, the original Mercedes-Benz radio with navigation is supplied with the car. Approximately ten years ago, the former owner upgraded the vehicle with genuine 18-inch AMG Monoblock wheels. The original factory 17 inch alloy wheels are included in the sale and will be supplied with the car.
