The Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster of the W 113 series, also known as the “Pagoda,” is among the most sought-after classics of the brand. Between 1967 and 1971, only 23,885 exemplars were produced. Its elegant design, smooth-running 2.8-liter inline six-cylinder engine, and high-quality craftsmanship make it a stylish and reliable classic to this day. The combination of roadster, hardtop, and timeless lines gives the 280 SL its special appeal.
This Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Roadster was first delivered in France in 1970 and returned to Germany in 2011, where it has remained in single ownership ever since. The vehicle impresses with its classic colour scheme and matching hardtop. Particularly noteworthy is its largely untouched original condition with manual transmission, the exceptionally well-preserved bodywork, and the low total mileage of only 88,200 km.
The mechanical components have been continuously maintained over the years, and the underbody was dry-ice blasted and preserved a few years ago.
