Matching numbers, low mileage (55k miles shown) and SL Shop provenance. The car presents well as a highly original machine that is painted in its original, rare colour way of Tobacco Brown over a Cream Leather interior.
Mechanically, the car is in very good shape and the bills with the SL Shop and Roger Edwards attest to this. The car instantly fires up when hot and shows good oil pressure when warm – the power steering pump was also noted as not being too loud.
The interior is original, and the original MB Tex seat covering is intact along with several original fixings that appear untampered with.
There are a few small paint chips and marks as expected with age. The under carriage has some rust and could do with welding and respray at some point.
A wonderful runner which drives superbly and represents great value for a collector enthusiast who wants to enjoy a truly classic car without needing to invest in it unless desired.
