Magnificent and rare 1967 Mercedes 250 SE Cabriolet (W111). A true icon of the 1960s, this cabriolet combines elegance, comfort, and mechanical pedigree thanks to its Bosch mechanical fuel-injected 6-cylinder engine.
This specific configuration features an elegant Navy Blue paint finish (two-stage finish) paired with a cognac leather interior.
The vehicle starts and runs smoothly. The fuel tank is recent, and the car is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes. The exhaust shows normal surface corrosion. Regarding the chassis, the wheel arch panels inside the boot (both left and right sides) have been replaced to standard specifications.
Very elegant overall presentation. Please note a few localized imperfections and bubbling due to internal corrosion on the wings (upper and lower sections of the front wings, as well as the bottom of the rear right wing), to be expected as part of a future restoration project.
The original cognac leather upholstery shows its age (leather is dry and unstitched on the front seats; the driver's door panel is worn) but retains a superb vintage atmosphere. The black soft top is in good overall condition with a well-preserved rear window (mica). The upper woodwork on the dashboard has received a protective layer of varnish, while the rest remains beautifully preserved.
A particularly rare and highly sought-after model (only 954 units produced), ideal for a discerning collector or a rewarding restoration project on a sound and authentic base.
The vehicle will be sold with its roadworthiness inspection (contrôle technique) and certificate of conformity.
