La Squire SS100 a été construite à la main à Turin par Intermeccanica — carrossier ayant collaboré avec Ferrari et Porsche — en reproduction fidèle de la légendaire Jaguar SS100 des années 1930. Seulement 50 exemplaires ont été produits entre 1972 et 1973, la quasi-totalité restant aux États-Unis. Les occasions européennes sont extrêmement rares.
Cet exemplaire de 1973 est animé par un Ford 250ci 6 cylindres en ligne (4,1 L), associé à une boîte manuelle 4 rapports, et affiche seulement 14 071 miles d'origine.
Historique et restauration : Restauration complète réalisée au début des années 2000 : intérieur cuir noir et rouge, tableau de bord en noyer cerisier poli à la main, suspension, lignes de frein et carburateur neufs. Électricité entièrement refaite en octobre 2022. Circuit de refroidissement refait en mai 2025. Vidanges moteur, frein et refroidissement récentes. Ligne Magnaflow homologuée. Vendu avec capote cuir, arceau et fenêtres latérales amovibles. Véhicule non-fumeur.

Pourquoi ce prix est justifié : Les exemplaires comparables aux États-Unis s'affichent entre 16 000 et 19 000 $. En ajoutant le transport maritime, les droits de douane collection (5,5 %), l'immatriculation FFVE et les frais administratifs, le surcoût réaliste est de 5 000 à 7 000 € minimum — sans compter les mois d'attente et l'achat à l'aveugle. 🇬🇧 One of the rarest roadsters you will ever find outside the United States. The Squire SS100 was hand-built in Turin by Intermeccanica — a coachbuilder with ties to Ferrari and Porsche — as a faithful recreation of the legendary 1930s Jaguar SS100. Only 50 examples were produced between 1972 and 1973, almost all of which remain in the US. European examples are extremely rare.
This 1973 example is powered by a Ford 250ci inline-six (4.1L), paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, and shows just 14,071 miles from new.
History and restoration : Full restoration completed in the early 2000s: black and red leather interior, hand-polished cherry walnut dashboard, new suspension, brake lines and carburetor. Electrics fully rewired in October 2022. Cooling system rebuilt May 2025. Recent oil, brake fluid and coolant changes. Magnaflow exhaust (road-legal). Leather hood, roll bar and removable side windows included. Non-smoker vehicle.

One minor point : Windscreen retaining rod needs replacing (simple repair).
Why this price is fair : Comparable examples in the US typically sell for $16,000–19,000. Add transatlantic shipping, French customs (5.5% collection rate), FFVE registration and administrative costs, and you are looking at a realistic surcharge of €5,000–7,000 — before factoring in months of waiting and buying blind from abroad. This car is already registered, serviced, inspected and ready to drive.
