"The Ferrari 355 is like a quail’s egg dipped in celery salt and served in Julia Roberts’ belly button." – Jeremy Clarkson
The eight-cylinder icon of the 1990s: the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta. The F355 was a tribute to the 348, the last standard hand-operated Ferrari. Its nomenclature surprised the purists: the first two digits still represented engine displacement, but the final digit no longer indicated the number of cylinders—it denoted the number of valves per cylinder. Consistency, Enzo… consistency!
Yet the moment you awaken the F355’s lively V8, all that is quickly forgotten. In fact, one cannot help but grin like a child each time. Unleashing those 380 Italian horses above 8,200 rpm is sheer joy. Every aspect is sensazione pura: the instruments are focused on the driver, the car’s poise is wickedly precise, and once the oil reaches temperature, it makes its presence known via the aluminium dipstick at your right hand. Each press of the accelerator, each note from the exhaust, each klak-klak through the aluminium guides delivers an intoxicating experience. Can you feel it?
Ours is particularly special. A 1995 example, part of the very first generation with the non-airbag steering wheel and 2.7 Motronic, delivered new by Eberlein in Germany and finished in the rare and vibrant Giallo Modena. With just 43,000 kilometres, it has been meticulously maintained by authorised dealers and, in October 2025, received a full-service at Forza Service, ensuring it’s ready to relish every one of those 8,000 rpm with pleasure.
We’re delighted to assist you.
"One of the most beautiful V8 engines ever made, both to look at and to hear." – Gordon Murray
